Our Services:

We specialize in health care for adults (age 18 years and older) including:

• Physicals: routine and pre-employment
• Women's health care including pap smears, breast exams and bone health
• Preventive medicine including vaccinations, travel advice and cancer screening
• Illnesses, whether mild, moderate or severe
• Hypertension, diabetes, gastrointestinal, cardiac, lung & kidney disorders, cholesterol

Special Testing and Procedures:

• Echocardiogram/Holter Monitoring
• Cardiac Stress Testing
• Coumadin Clinic
• Ultrasound (abdominal, venous, arterial)
• Hearing Testing
• Skin Biopsies/Cryofreeze Lesions
• Lung Function Testing
• Electrocardiogram

Scheduling and Appointments:

Please call (916) 408-3773 to schedule your appointment. Office hours for appointments with the providers are 8am-4:20pm, except for holidays. We offer same day appointments for urgent issues. We DO NOT accept walk-in appointments. On the day of your appointment, please bring your insurance card and any required payment with you. We understand that appointments must be cancelled due to conflicts. Kindly contact us 24 hours in advance so that we may offer your scheduled visit to another patient.

After Hours Care:

There is always a doctor on-call to serve you. If you require urgent after hours care, please dial (916) 408-3773 and listen to the instructions to have the on-call physician paged. IN CASE OF A LIFE THREATENING EMERGENCY, DIAL 911.

Medication Refills:

Please call your pharmacy to request prescription refills and allow 2 business days for us to process your request. If you need a medication urgently, please let us know. Controlled substances should be refilled during normal business hours. Please bring your current prescription bottles to your appointment.

Billing and Insurance:

We accept most insurance plans. We are required by your insurance company to collect your co-pay when you check in for your appointment. For patients without medical coverage, payment in full is required at the time of the service. LIM accepts credit/debit cards, checks or cash.
